How could anyone take an animated, undersea tale about fish and turn it into a Broadway-style musical?
You have to see this show to believe it! Not only did Disney accomplish the task, but they turned it into one of the best shows at Disney World! Don’t miss it!
This abbreviated version of the movie has all your favorite characters including that cool-dude turtle, Crush; and Bruce, the (wannabe) vegetarian shark.
The original musical score by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez is powerful and beautifully produced. Ingenious puppet-kites, merge with human actors to portray the characters with a full range of movement and emotions. It’s not surprising that Michael Curry, the artist who created the characters for Disney’s Broadway smash hit, “The Lion King, designed them. They are amazing!
Definitely 2 fins up!
