TIP: Pick up a chart at the start of the journey. It helps you spot and identify the creatures you’ll see.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Attractions:
Maharajah Jungle Trek

Set your own pace on this walking tour. There are lots of cast members along the way to answer your questions about the wildlife and vegetation.

You’ll see giant Komodo Dragons, Malayan Tapirs, tigers and lots of bats.

The bat house is really cool. Big, ugly bats are hanging from the trees right in front of you. They may not look so big in this picture, but these bats have a wingspan of up to 6 feet – and there’s nothing between them and you!
You don’t have to worry
though. They can’t fit through the narrow windows in the bat house.

In India, abandoned palaces and temples are left to be reclaimed by the jungle. Following this tradition, Disney has incorporated the ruins of a palace and hunting lodge into the natural landscape of this attraction. It’s very beautiful and provides lots of picture ops.
