Animal Kingdom covers a lot of ground, so you will too. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Don't carry more gear than is necessary. A backpack can be handy and there are lockers available for rental at the park entrance.

This park closes earliest. There are no fireworks or grand closing ceremonies because many of the animals must be rounded up for the night.

Be sure to pick up a park map and Times Guide when you enter the park. Check the times for attraction closings and special events so you don't miss out on anything.
