There are lots of characters to meet and greet in the Animal Kingdom. Who you can see will vary. These are some of the special areas where you can find them:

• On the plaza in front of the entrance: At peak times, you'll find several characters out front.

• Discovery Island at the Character Landing near The Flame Tree Barbeque

• Camp Minnie-Mickey: This is the main character greeting spot at AK.  Mickey and Minnie are always here - accompanied by various friends.

• In Africa, Near Tamu-Tamu Refreshments: This is a seasonal location.

• Conservation Station (in Rafiki's Planet Watch): This is a great place to spend time with characters like Pocahontas, Jiminy Cricket and Rafiki. It's less crowded than the other areas

• Dinoland USA near Hester and Chester's Dino-Rama: You'll meet prehistoric characters here.
